I’ll start by telling you that we interviewed three different companies. The one that stood out by far was Sunset Designers & Building. We literally showed a hand drawn sketch of what we had in mind and it went from that to a beautifully designed pool which is in our home today. John Zahn from Sunset presented us with a multi page proposal which represented all the possibilities we could incorporate into our design. It was professionally written and had line by line items with pricing. Neighbors commented “it looks like a resort, “and “Wow I heard of elevated pools but this is gorgeous,”. Needless-to-say we were impressed with Sunset Designers. We highly recommend that you choose them to build your dream., They really are the best of the best! John and his crew were wonderful to work with from start to finish. They were punctual, tidy, great at communicating, and helped create the backyard of our dreams. I had a million questions throughout the project and they helped make the process fun and easy. I cannot recommend this company enough, it was worth every penny., Our experience with Sunset was excellent. John is an excellent communicator and was on the jobsite everyday. If anything was ever needed John was there immediately to take care of it. We made a few changes mid-way through the job and everything came out better than expected., Just got our pool finished! It is sooooo beautiful ! Our lights, our plants, our sound system all perfect. The entire crew worked hard every day . And John Zahn came by to make sure everything was going well EVERY DAY! The attention we were given makes you feel like you are the only pool they are working on. I’m so glad we made the choice to use them. Couldn’t be happier!, I am very pleased From the first appointment with JZ I knew he was perfect! JZ took my wife and I to several projects in the area to see the work first hand. JZ was so helpful when we had questions on design for not only the pool but the hardscape as well. We received daily updates via email regarding our project and the current and next steps. If I needed anything JZ and or Nate responded almost immediately or showed up to my house no matter what time. The crew that work at Sunset are top notch. Thank you for our StayCation!, From beginning contact/estimate to our final clean-up and pool start-up, John and Nate at Sunset Designers did everything they promised, with creativity and excellent day-to-day updates on all aspects of our home pool remodel. I choose Sunset because they were recommended by neighbors AND because I felt John was personally invested in making my backyard something we’d both be proud of. He contributed his design expertise but allowed me, at all stages, to modify to my tastes. Every aspect of our project with Sunset equaled or exceeded our expectations. All of the workers on this project, from demolition to final landscaping, were personally overseen and supervised by John. All of them were courteous and punctual. I never had to remind them about daily clean-up before they departed. No reservations about hiring John and Sunset Builders. You can find cheaper, but not better., We began the proposal process with John in April 2019. He gave a fair quote in comparison to other companies. It was evident from the start that Sunset and John knew what they were doing and we were very comfortable with getting the project started. Sunset wasted no time with pulling permits and breaking ground. The communication was outstanding and our needs were all met. We were enjoying our new pool by 4th of July., The pool is amazing! It turned out unbelievable. Everything from the different types of tile and stone, and color of the bottom of pool to the lighting and plants, everything is phenomenal. Working with John Zahn of Sunset Designers and Builders was great. They are professional, and they are very good with their clients.
